Risk manager
Risk Manager is a software program designed to visualize the exposure for each traded instrument. The program visualizes the exposure both from the trading servers and from the Liquidity Provider side. If there is a difference between the two sides, it is visualized. The program allows symbols to be grouped so that only the symbols important to the broker are monitored. The number of groups is unlimited, and each group can be visualized on a separate screen. The program enables Brokerage Team’s to monitor the company’s overall exposure in real time regardless of the number of trading servers and Liquidity Provider’s.
The Risk Manager program collects in real time the exposure data from the broker’s trading platforms as well as the exposure data from the Liquidity Provider’s platforms. The data is filtered and grouped based on the rules predefined by the user. The rules can be changed continuously according to the user’s needs. Also, new groups of symbols can be formed. In order to be connected to the trading platform, the program needs to set the API interface, username and password for access. It is desirable that the user account be limited to read rights. As an example, if your trading platform is Metaquotes MT4, using MT4 Manager you need to create a manager account that has “Administrator” rights but should not have “Edit/Delete trades” rights. The Risk Manager program only reads data on open positions. The program cannot write/change data in the trading platform. Connection to the Liquidity Provider software platforms is done via the API interface provided by the user, as well as a username and password.

The Risk Manager program is a web-based application. We provide its support. If integration with a new trading platform or a new Liquidity Provider is required, we provide the platform upgrade. This eliminates the need for the client to maintain its own staff of programmers and system administrators to maintain such software. In turn, this reduces maintenance costs and the broker can focus on the company's core business. The web-based application allows for work from different geographical locations, which is an advantage when working from more than one office. The application can be used by different operating systems. For a monthly fee, the client receives full system support, which includes updating in the event of a change in the software of the trading platforms or Liquidity Provider, which happens very often. As an example, Metaquotes updates the MT4 and MT5 trading servers almost every month, in which case the client software that uses the MT4/MT5 Manager API must also be updated.
